Care and Services
Each Resident of Bay Haven Retirement Home receives the following care and services included :
- Medication administration (if needed)
- Registered Practical Nurse on duty 24/7
- Weekly housekeeping service
- Weekly assistance with bathing (if needed)
- Daily garbage removal and towel refresh
- Annual medication and diet review
- Coordination of laboratory services
- Documentation and maintenance of medical records
- Mail pick up and delivery
Meals
Residents will enjoy three meals a day, included in the monthly rate, thoughtfully prepared by our in-house culinary team

Criteria for Admission
To ensure that residents can fully benefit from the services and programs offered at Bay Haven Retirement Home, prospective residents must meet the following criteria:
- Independently mobile, either walking unassisted or using a mobility aide (cane, walker, wheelchair) without assistance
- Continent of bowel and bladder, or capable of managing incontinence independently
- Mentally alert and cognitively aware ( a MoCA test may be administered)
- Able to eat independently without assistance
Before admission, prospective resident will be informed that they are encouraged to maintain their previous lifestyle and that independence in all activities of daily living is emphasized.
Optional Services
Certain services available to residents at the Retirement Home may incur additional charges beyond the basic fee. These include but are not limited to: guest meals, hairdressing services, and footcare services.
