Join our Volunteer Community at Bay Haven

Volunteers play a meaningful role in enriching the lives of our residents. We are always grateful for individuals who are willing to share their time, talents, and compassion.
All volunteers are required to provide a current police record check and proof of influenza vaccination. Mandatory training must also be completed prior to placement to ensure everyone feels confident and prepared in their role

Volunteens (Ages 14 – 18)

Are you between the ages of 14 and 18 and looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community? Our volunteen program offers young people the opportunity to support residents in the Long Term Care Home at Bay Haven after school, on weekends, and during the summer months. A commitment of just one hour per week for 15 weeks can make a meaningful difference.
Volunteens must be willing to receive the influenza vaccination during flu season. Participation in the program may also help to fulfill the Ministry of Education’s required community involvement hours.
It’s a wonderful way to build experience, develop confidence, and form lasting connections.
